Indoor birthday parties for the winter in Castle Rock

Updated: Jan 16

Wintery weather means moving all the birthdays inside - because let's face it, we cannot take a risk on having one of those wonderful sunny Colorado winter days!

There's plenty of spots in Castle Rock that are happy to host small birthdays and large ones! Whether you're hosting family or your entire class, here's a few indoor birthday party ideas to get you going:

Noah's PlayPark

One of the town's most affordable options gets you a play area and party room for up to 25 children, for under $200. There's nothing like it! The play area is suitable for kids under 7, in my opinion, but play areas can entertain kids for many years beyond this! Request a visit or a tour and see for yourself! The party room is spacious enough for kids of any age. Bring your own cake and treats, and you can surely invite the entire class to this spot. Please note: This is located at The Rock Church, but you do not need to be a member to host a party here.

*Please note, prices will be going up for this spot in 2025!

We went through a phase where all my kid's friends had their birthday party here, but then again so did we! My youngest had her 3rd birthday here and it's incredibly easy. This mom/daughter duo handles everything: the dressing up, the entertainment, the food and treats, the tea...you simply just bring a cake, if you want! I say "if you want" because there are plenty of treats to go along with the tea party. There are also add ons, like if you want said cake to be ordered by the staff, if you want a princess to appear, or if you want premade goodie bags. And yes I know you're thinking, this isn't exactly boy-centric. However, they DO have superhero dress up clothes and items for the guys, if your birthday kiddo has male attendees.

Another spot we attend regularly for parties, because of the price and ease! You can customize your party to your kid's taste: bounce houses, NERF blasters, swim party, trampoline party, playplace party...there's several options! They help you set up your party room, but this party is general on your own: bring your own food and decor. Party hosts will help you clean and keep you on schedule: this place gets packed with parties every weekend, so they help keep the party moving. The perk? Kids can stay after the party and enjoy any amenities they didn't get to enjoy, so you get a free pass for the remainder of the day!

Kid's Landing

Your birthday kid gets to feel special, because they get the one party room, all to themselves at the Kids Landing! You could even opt to reserve the entire playplace to yourself! Like many spots, the party room is a blank slate: bring your decorations and your treats, you can make this room fit any theme.

Get up and groove! Schotime can host a variety of themed parties in their large studios, for preschool through elementary ages. The staff will lead kiddos through obstacle courses, games, dances...and of course sit them down for cake and treats when its time to sing Happy Birthday!
