We in Castle Rock are lucky to be home to so many kinds of workouts that fit a variety of needs and schedules!
From classes to around-the-clock drop-ins;
from low intensity to jump all around;

...there's a little something for everyone!
When it comes to moms (and all parents), we have multiple schedules and needs to consider! While this list isn't a complete list of what could work for every parent on every kind of schedule, this is a great start to finding a workout routine to fitting your needs! And even better: ALL these places offer free trials!
These places listed below are all owned by local moms as well, so they GET IT. They've built little fitness paradises that work with mom schedules and mom bods!

SHRED415
This is my go-to workout for torching a ton of calories in one session! Shred415's HIIT (High intensity interval training) workout packs in two 15-minute sessions of treadmill work and two 15-minute sessions of weight work (hence, 415...four 15 minute sessions).

What's to love about this workout?
First of all, they offer childcare onsite! They have a dedicated room for kiddos starting at 12 weeks. Background-checked staff keep your kids entertained and safe while you are fitting in a workout!
I love the scalability of this workout. If you are easing back into running post-pregnancy, you can walk on the treadmills! If your wrists scream about pushups, the instructors can recommend another move. The instructors have seen people have every level of their fitness journey, so you do NOT need to be a Division 4 athlete to fit in.
Each instructor brings something a little difference, and with multiple class offerings, you can find a class that fits YOU. Some instructors favor more balance or aerobic moves, while others favor heavy weights. Some instructors love running on inclines, while others love flat road speed drills.
If you love long distance running or heavy weight lifting, you can take an ENDURANCE class that gets you 45 minutes of whichever you are feeling (rather than 30 minutes broken up).

HOTWORX
As a former runner and HIIT-only type of girl, it took a lot for me to slow down and try yoga, stretching, pilates and other low-intensity options. I love to get my heart rate up and sweat! But when I tried HotWorx, I was blown away at how many calories I could burn while stretching in an infrared sauna! This is the recovery I never knew my body needed...while my heart always loves HIIT workouts, HotWorx has become such a great part of my wellness and fitness routine. Plus that sweat from a 130° sauna is undeniable! It warms up my body and helps me stretch my muscles more deeply every time!

The variety of low impact options! You can take 40 minute classes inside an infrared sauna, including hot yoga, barre, pilates, isometrics, hot bands, stretch, warrior and more.
PLUS there are quick 15 minute cardio bursts (in infrared saunas) like cycling and rowing! When I'm short on time but want a solid sweat, I love cycling for 15 minutes in a 130° sauna.

The weight room is a great perk! This room is NOT in a sauna, but its a great area to spot-train other areas you might not have hit in the sauna. I love stretching in here too!

FIT4MOM CASTLE ROCK/CASTLE PINES
The tightest workout community I have ever come across! Stroller Strides was rebranded awhile back as Fit4Mom because it became so much more than just stroller classes (although those are still a thing!). The Castle Rock/Castle Pines chapter hosts a variety of classes for moms at many levels of the fitness journey: pregnancy, postpartum, and dialing it up a notch!

What's to love about Fit4Mom?
The built-in childcare is a no-brainer for moms who are don't have childcare, who have kids who are still a bit young to leave behind, or simply want to let their kiddos be a part of their fitness activities!
The COMMUNITY is what I keep chirping about, because its true: I've never met a more tightknit community! They have active book clubs, mom nights out, brunches, and fun events that are always giving me FOMO. And seriously: while I haven't been the most active member over the years, these friendly people ALWAYS stop and say hi to me when I'm out and about. They are a real sisterhood, and once you're a part of it, you're part of the family.
I'm no longer in that postpartum stage, so I thought the classes would be on the easier side... and BOY was I wrong. They have mom-only classes that incorporate lots of HIIT styles and weight lifting that had me completely out of breath.
They offer on-demand classes and streaming classes, so if the class times don't work for you that week, you can still feel plugged in!

ADULT HIP-HOP AT SCHOTIME DANCE CENTER
Maybe it's a workout, maybe it's a chance to shake it like you're back in a college bar...either way, this class burns calories while you're groovin! The surprise of my year was joining this Schotime Dance Center class with seriously zero dance experience...but since my kids dance multiple nights a week anyway and I'm already there, it made sense to move my body a little and have a laugh!

What I got here was more than just a bit of movement: I've learned a whole new skill in picking up choreography, which is SO MUCH HARDER than it looks! I also learned some new moves, made some new friends, had tons of laughs, and yes burned quite a few calories while dancing to new and old hits. Miss Maddie (the instructor and one of the hip hop teachers at Schotime) makes this class a party! You will leave class smiling and ready for more!
What's to love about Adult Hip Hop?

Each week is a new dance, so you don't have to worry about missing classes; just come back the following week!
6 week sessions make this class easy to join for seasons, or even gift to a friend.
