Yolanda's

Has Patio!
Kids Eat Free!
I love tacos and all Mexican food. I love gringo tacos as much as I love the gourmet plates. I love fancy dine-in with a Cadillac margarita, and I love divey takeout with tons of queso ๐ง
Yolanda's Tacos meets me in the middle. I can dine in with a plate of excellent Mexican food, but itโs also casual enough to bring my rowdy kids.
๐ฎ There are several taco meat options (including veggie and 3 kinds of fish options! ๐ ) and many variations of pork, beef and chicken. Chicken tinga is ๐
๐ง The queso is OUT OF THIS WORLD ๐ It might be because I was dieting at the time, but I was borderline embarrassing with how much I was praising this cheese dip. My kids also loved it...and as you can see, my youngest went meta and dipped her cheese quesadilla into cheese sauce ๐ Iโm not even mad.
๐ฆ I went with a lighter option since I was in the middle of a transformation challenge (where my @otfcastlerock peeps at?), and went with the ceviche tostadas. This still completely met my Mexican food cravings, while being light and refreshing for a warm day.
๐ท Hubs went with tacos, and the al pastor was perfect. They were fresh and full, which is great because no one wants a dinky taco.
๐ง They have kids meals as well! Since my girls eat the plainest food out there, they shared a quesadilla and chips, which was more than enough. Something about a Mexican restaurant quesadilla makes it better than whatever I microwave at home ๐
๐ถ They also had many other platters like chile rellenos, burritos, nachos and more (if, for some reason, you donโt like tacos ๐๐)
This place was bumpin when we went for late lunch! If you just want to take it to go, or go enjoy a picnic at Festival Park, they were churning out to-go orders like Iโve never seen. That was a great thing to see while we were waiting for our food: if plenty of people were still ordering that much food after 1pm, it must be great!
