THE OLD NORTH END🍝
Sometimes after a long weekend of hiking or kids activities or just running around doing ALL the things, you need to sit down with a bowl of pasta bigger than your head 🍝
So my girls, their troop of ponies, and myself gave The Old North End a go! Let me tell you, this is fantastic for families. 👨👩👧👦
For $5, kids can get an array of pasta dishes (including butter noodles, for the kids out there who hate flavor and variety) PLUS a cookie at the end of the meal. Seeing the large cookie display shining bright at them through the meal was a great way to motivate my kids to eat their dinner! And they don’t phone these cookies in. They are REALLY great 🍪😍 People were coming in during the dinner hour just to pick up cookie orders. Best kept cookie secret in town? 🤷♀️
The Old North End usually has live music during the dinner hour and it was a delight! My girls loved it and it was never too loud at any point. Just the perfect amount of ambiance 🎵
And let’s talk about those portion sizes again. I’m not joking when I say that we each literally had enough noodles left over for 2-3 additional meals. It was well worth the money.
I ordered Penne Bolognese with meatballs, my big kid ordered spaghetti, and my tiny one ordered mac and cheese 🧀 It was a real cheese sauce too! (You know how some places that don’t actually serve Mac and cheese on their menu get resourceful and use Alfredo with shredded cheese sprinkled on top? Not this place!)
If you need pasta after a long day (or night) of fun, try this place out!
