Kids Eat Free!
SCILEPPI’S at the Old Stone Church is an old world Italian escape in the heart of Downtown Castle Rock 🍷🍝🇮🇹
And YES, they are open during construction 🧡
We recently enjoyed a date night at Scileppi’s, and we were blown away by the service and the quality! Our server had outstanding recommendations and we loved 100% of what he picked…does he have great taste? Or is everything here delicious? Or both? 😆
🍝 Our main dishes were the Short Rib Ravioli and the Sundried Tomato Rigatoni. I’m going to make a bold statement: the Short Rib Ravioli was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten 🤯 and the rigatoni was like adult Mac and cheese…it wasn’t cheesy, but creamy rich goodness. It doesn’t come with a protein, but I added chicken and shrimp.
🥗 Even down to the salads, the flavor was great. Their dressings are made in house…They had exciting salad options, but the server called the vinaigrette on the standard house salad “life changing”…couldn’t let that go, so I had to try it 😄 He was right…how could a house vinaigrette go so hard?
✨ Scileppi’s breads their calamari to order (not pre breaded or frozen). It was light and crispy, not soggy. I could eat this for dinner 😍
🥄 The white chocolate Creme brûlée was a light way to end the meal, the perfect size for two people who just stuffed their faces with rich pasta. You can never go wrong with Creme brûlée, but the white chocolate flavor gave it an edge 👍
⛪️ Scileppi’s is in an old church dating back to 1888, so you’re not going to find a huge expansive space. It’s intimate and historic, with stained glass windows and even a booth in the old confessional (which you can reserve!). You can also reserve the upstairs choir loft for a larger group, or sit outside on their shady patio.
🍕 Yes, bring the kids too! They can order off the kids menu, or get a slice of pizza from Sliceworks next door!
