SafeSplash Swim

Has Patio!
Kids Eat Free!
School has started, pools are wrapping up their seasons, and the swimsuits are being put away...just kidding! Not at this house! 😆
Why do I keeping them in lessons at SafeSplash year round? Full disclosure: I was not a great swimmer. My dad swam in college, so why was I the kid with nose plugs and goggles? Why did I always like the shallow end?
I’m making the conclusion (or decision) that my dad’s swimming skills are skipping a generation and being passed to my kids 😂 But in reality, they are formally learning the skills that can translate into so many things in their lives!
💦Water safety is SO important and can help with a ton of local activities. We can go to the beach, swim in the lake, go kayaking, go boating and enjoy all the Colorado things while feeling assured that our kids are gaining safety and survival skills from formal swim lessons.
💦It’s a full-body, low-impact exercise. My kids get a great bit of exercise without even knowing they are exercising!
💦I went to a small school growing up, that didn’t have a swim team 😢 If they want to join the swim team in the next couple of years, they will have a leg up!
💦My daughter is already saying she wants to be a swim teacher when she grows up 😆 But in reality, life guards are always needed, so I’m already planting the seed for her to be a lifeguard for a high school summer job one day 😂 am I jumping too far ahead?
So while they might not be swimming at our neighborhood pool all summer, we will continue to visit the local rec center pools to keep their skills afloat and to keep having FUN 🤩
If you’re interested in a crazy-beneficial activity for your kids this fall, swim lessons (at Safe Splash!) is a great call 🏊🏻♀️
