Rec Center Playground

REC CENTER PLAYGROUND ☀️

It’s not the biggest. It’s not the newest. But that view of the Rock? 😍😍

This is a great little park with several slides, many climbing opportunities, and tucked away from all the busyness. It’s on the Rec Center grounds, so it’s always a nice pit stop before or after our pool visits, dance class, etc.

I like this park as a “quick park visit” place because of its size. My kids can get some wiggles out and get a variety of things to do, but without the need to stay all day (yes, we go to some parks in Castle Rock where we could literally stay all day).

There’s not a ton of amenities…no tables, no benches, no potties. But there is shade, there are spots for parents to sit, and there’s plenty to enjoy.

The Rec Center preschool program uses this as their playground, so you may run into some play buddies while you are there 👫
