MT. FALCON - EAST TRAILHEAD


Mt. Falcon is a short drive away from Castle Rock with some excellent views of Denver and Red Rocks!


This was a bit of a departure from our normal hike, which is usually a climb to the top of the mountain looking westward. We live in the suburbs, so we usually want a view of anything BUT the suburbs šŸ˜‚ And Iā€™m whiny about being directly in the sun for long periods of time on a hike. This was ALL sun, ALL suburbs.


We also did not do the full hike. We went up about 2 miles and turned around. It was a good amount of uphill effort to stop for a snack and then turn around to enjoy the views ā›°
