Lava Island

Need another idea for indoor fun? 😆 A fairer question for this place would be: need an indoor play place that never seems to end?

Lava Island 🌋 in Aurora is nonstop, and I mean NON. STOP. Just when you think the play area ends, a whole other second opens up. I wasn’t even exactly sure how to present this to you guys...I did my best, but you really just have to check it out 😁

There’s lots of climbing, sliding, crawling, and jumping at every turn. You’ll find one large JUNGLE-themed area with lots to crawl and climb in. Plus many slides, include an enormous VOLCANO SLIDE 🌋

There is a small area for kids to ride tricycles and have small races. Next to this is an infant area for tiny ones to safely crawl around.

The other side of Lava Island features a trampoline park, with foam pits, swings and monkey bars. PLUS, kids can jump directly into the lava pit. My kids love to spend most of the day here 😆

There’s plenty of bathrooms and space for families to settle in. Outside food is not permitted, but they have a full functioning cafe with pizza, chicken tenders, fries, ice cream, and more. Plus Starbucks coffee ☕️😍

If you’re looking for a fun place to get the wiggles out for a couple hours, Lava Island is IT 🔥

Personal note: this place is very big. It’s *fantastic for big kids. It can be overwhelming for small ones. My 2yo enjoyed it very much at this age, but thankfully she loved following her big sister around (so they stayed together). If the larger play area is too much, the little kid/infant area is large enough to entertain them as well.
