A flat stroll, friendly for families who love streams and leaves 🍁 Less than an hour from Castle Rock, this park offers picturesque trails with tons to explore.

Might I recommend visiting near dusk? Not just my idea, many parts of this place were swimming with families and photographers grabbing sunset family photos 📸 The light here is just PERFECT in the evening.

The Bear Creek Trail is only a short 1.5 miles, with many creek side loops to explore. If you have kids who love to stop and smell the roses (or climb trees, dip their feet, throw rocks, etc), this short hike is robust with scenery and spots to safely explore.

You can add Bruin Bluff Trail, which is another 1.5 miles in the woods (not by the creek), which is also fairly easy for little hikers. No big inclines!
