Playing in the creek is timeless fun 💦 Once splashpads close for the season, you might still be looking for ways to cool off in the Colorado autumn sun ☀️

The creek in Festival Park is simple and yet always a sure bet. Sometimes we bring a few pool toys, and sometimes we show up with nothing but ourselves. We dig for rocks and sticks, watch for beavers, and get our feet wet. My kids make up “nature girls” scenarios and the fun practically makes itself 🎃

Open year round, because nature is always our playground! 🌲
