Falls Trail- Castlewood Canyon

CASTLEWOOD CANYON 🍂

Our very own state park! I love recommending this hike to everyone because it has varying terrain for all levels. You can enjoy a flat scenic walk in the canyon or a climb up to the cliffs, either way for some spectacular views.

I love to park by the Falls Trail for the quickest way to the water falls, fall colors, and an enjoyable flat hike.

🍂You can turn left to immediately climb up to the top of the canyon

🍂You can turn right to go to the waterfalls right away

This is a state park, so you’ll need an annual or day pass to park 💰

If you do the entire loop (inside the canyon and atop the canyon) you’ll be walking a little over 4 miles.

It was a trek with my 2yo on my back, but with the fall weather and the sun shining, it was just what we needed to burn a little energy and see the change of the season 🍁
