Deputy Zach Parrish

Has Patio!
Kids Eat Free!
This past weekend we visited Dep. Zack S Parrish III Memorial Park. Or, as my kids like to call it, the SUPER COOL PARK š
Starting out with the sky high play structure that rivals Discovery Zone (remember DZ?), my big kid loves to climb around, get lost, and go down one of the incredibly speedy slides.
There are several smaller, low to the ground jungle gyms for the smaller monkeys. My toddler loves the balance beams!
This park also has the most variety of swings Iāve seen in town yet. It includes regular swings, bucket swings for babies, an ADA swing, and even a Parent/Child tandem swing (you can see hubs and my tiny one enjoying the tandem!).
Thereās also a smaller playset for the tiny tots, away from the big kids and away from being trampled š It includes musical instruments as well, so thereās something for everyone. If you were there on Sunday, you probably heard my husband trying to teach our children how to play the āJurassic Parkā theme song on the xylophone š¦
Right by the playground youāll find hammocks, pickle ball courts, a large multi-use field for tossing/kicking a ball around, and permanent cornhole sets.
Lastly, thereās a ZIP LINE šØ This wasnāt around this past summer so we were excited to send our big kid flying š Kids of all ages were using the zip line, which made a long line but it went fast. It's in a high traffic area, so make sure your kiddos know to look both ways before crossing in front of the zip line (without fail, I always see a kid get bonked by a zipliner!).
The picnic pavilion is HUGE, with 20+/- tables for lunch, snacks, or just hangin. Thereās always tons of families enjoying lunch when we go, so now my kids want to plan a 5 course meal whenever we head there š
Thereās so much to see and do here, so plan a picnic for this park because you and your brood will need some time to fit everything in to your visit!
