CASTLE NORTH PARK ☀️
While I was hiking up the Rock yesterday, I noticed a park tucked away on the East side of the park. I took a picture and made a mental note of it. It was colorful, fairly big for a neighborhood park, and had plenty of parking.
We had exactly a half hour to kill between our morning errands and preschool, so we made a “pit stop” to Castle North Park. Word of caution ⚠️ this is NOT a pit stop park...I had to nearly pry my children away from here. Don’t make the same mistake I did: plan to spend a good while here 😂
Not all parks have ample monkey bars available, but this one did! So if you have a monkey, be sure to bring them here 🐵 There’s also picnics tables, a basketball court, a play house, a toddler play set and big kid play set, and a play structure I can only describe as the “large spinny climby tower” that every child gravitated to. It’s like a spider web and merry-go-round all in one!
As you can see, the view cannot be beat 🏞 the Castle Rock is in plain sight, and several mountains can be viewed as well. Not sure if you’re like me or not, but a good Colorado view never gets old! 😍
There are swings available, but it’s worth noting there is only one baby bucket swing at this park. If you have no babies, no problems here!
