BISON PARK ☀️
Do you ever take pictures of something and think, “These pictures do NOT do this place justice.” I think that every time I’m out in the mountains. But also again when I was at Bison Park in the Meadows.
There’s so many little play areas in this park, I could see in my kids faces that they didn’t even know where to begin.
🌳 There’s a high climbing structure with a tall slide for the bigger kids, plus a small toddler climbing structure for the tiny ones.
🌳 A sand pit with a play house helps any kid with their imagination needs (my kids love playing “house” and “restaurant”)
🌳 Lots of swings! (including buckets and ADA)
🌳 A large spider-web structure for your climbing monkeys
🌳 Two large turf fields for when your kids decide they need to run laps (like mine!)
🌳 I don’t know how to describe this structure other than a “child-safe standing half pipe” but the kids loved sitting or standing on a tiny platform and sliding back and forth like Tony Hawk
🌳 Shaded pavilions for lunch and restrooms, so you can settle in all say
I get the question a lot about whether parks are good for big kids too. I definitely would put this one higher on the list because of the number of things to do here that were marked 5+...or my *science-based gauge of whether my children were nervous about playing on it 😂
If you haven’t checked this park out, this is a great spot to post up for a longer play date!
